Not my ‘usual’ sort of photo, but this scene caught my eye as I drove away from Davidstow Airfield toward Rough Tor today. The tor sloping down and into the roof of the shed was too much for me to pass up and I had to block the road for a few minutes to get the photo!

Holywell Bay visit -16th May
Holywell Bay has been a long time favourite beach of mine. Sitting on the North Coast of Cornwall, about 3 miles East of Newquay it’s instantly recognisable from it’s twin rocks in the bay known as Carter’s Rocks, or more commonly Gull Rocks.

Highland Cows…in Cornwall?
Some weeks back, I drove past Colliford Lake on the A30 heading towards Penzance and saw a herd of Highland cows. Up until this point, I had no idea how common they were in Cornwall! At the time, I couldn’t stop but made a promise to myself to return and try to photograph them.

Godrevy Beach Visit -25th February
Godrevy Beach on the North Coast of Cornwall is somewhere I have visited countless times. Partly because it’s such a stunning location, offering everything from sandy beaches to seals resting on shore, rocks with waves crashing over them, and of course the lighthouse. Secondly, it’s close to home, and I am unfortunately a lazy photographer!
