      Porthcurno beach
On this day, I had gone out with the plan of doing some woodland photography to capture the changing colours in the trees as autumn takes hold. I was even hopeful to find some mist as I drove west toward Land’s End with Trevaylor Woods in mind.

      Pendeen Lightouse
Cornwall is a rocky peninsula with dangerous waters, so it has several lighthouses. Most are hard to reach by foot or only accessible by sea or air because they’re on small islands. One exception is Pendeen Lighthouse, which is easy to visit and a popular spot for photographers and visitors. It was first lit in 1900 but is now fully automated.
