Mullion Harbour at Sunset, Cornwall.
A recent photo, taken in April of 2024. I hadn’t visited Mullion Cove for some time but decided on a whim to pop down there for sunset. I was familiar with this line of cliffs that are visible from the harbour wall and expected them to be lit up as the sun set. What I didn’t expect was the little fishing boat to wander into the frame and turn a simple landscape photo into a little story of life at Mullion Cove.

Although this was taken back in 2022, I can still remember how cold I was sitting here! Don’t be fooled by that warm glow, the cliffs at sunset in Land’s End get very chilly, even in the height of spring time!
This is one of those views that every photographer in Cornwall has taken or plans to take so I don’t get any points here for originality, but I have to recommend everyone visit this spot at sunset. Don’t worry about photos, just sit and enjoy this view as the sun goes down.
The Crowns, Botallack, Cornwall.
I have honestly lost count of the number of times I have visited the Crowns to get the ‘perfect’ photo. It has been photographed endlessly by a countless number of photographers and a quick search online will give you some incredible views of this location.
